Chattahoochee River Park

Today we went out with Uncle Andy and Aunt Kelly to walk and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery of Atlanta's great outdoors -- the leaves are changing and the sun brightens them to golden tones. Lady came along (Andy and Kelly's baby -- a Great Dane puppy) and splashed around in a creek while we admired the spot and laughed mirthfully at her clumsy puppy run. Sophia slept pretty much the entire time, but I am sure she liked the feel of the fall weather all snuggled up with her mommy in the "baby bjorn."

We worked up an appetite and wound up eating at a Willy's Mexicana, Sophia joining in the fun with some glorious Alimentum formula. I was holding her at my shoulder when we heard something fall to the floor followed by an "uh-oh" from a little girl behind me. It turned out that the "something" was a little puddle of puke courtesy of Sophia Wyona -- just a little demonstration of her projectile talents. Happily enough, it didn't land on me, and Matt quickly jumped to the scene to clean up after our little joy. It was a very funny event though as it didn't occur to any of us that it was her spit-up; it had sounded more like the fall of a pacifier. Then Matt, Sophia, and I all traveled home for a good night's rest after a blissfully tiring day.
