In other news, Sophia is going to be meeting her paternal grandparents and Uncle Peter tomorrow! We are very excited for this weekend. (And Sophia and I are super excited about the high tea on Saturday with some amazing women! I am sure she will grow up to be a tea-lover like her mommy.)

One Month!
Today is Sophia's one month birthday! We had a visit to the pediatrician that went very well (despite the dreaded hepatitus shot -- ouch!). Sophia now weighs 12 lbs. and is 22.5 inches tall. She's a big girl! So, despite the reflux problem, she is thriving ;) We have started giving her rice cereal with her formula and breastmilk which weighs down the meal so it is more likely to stay in the tummy rather than reappear (whether a couple minutes or an hour later). I do miss nursing her, but this is better for all of us. The cereal has made a huge difference for her -- now we don't have to do multiple loads of laundry in a day just to be sure we have clean burp cloths to collect the puke. It is such a blessing!

Aha!!! I knew that bouncy seat with the rainforest sounds was a "must have" when we did your Babies R Us registration!! Those items seam frivolous--until they are the ONE THING that helps them sleep. So glad rice cereal has changed your life...and Sophia's. We cannot wait for tomorrow!!!
Luv you!!
