Four Months and Growing

Well, although there hasn't been a post for a while, Sophia has not stopped growing. Here are some pictures from the past 1-2 months for you all to enjoy. She is so cute and there are many more pictures to share with you. (Even a video or two!)

Sophia had a wonderful first holiday season with a trip to Pensacola where she attended a beautiful wedding and met some of her aunties for the first time. She also got to meet one of her peers -- a very handsome young man named Moses.

Sophia has been smiling and laughing for some time now and has only gotten more and more liberal with her laughter. She is so adorable. She is also working very hard on her rolling skills. She prefers to try to roll from her back to her tummy, but can only get a little farther than half way on her own. But we are sure she will be there before we know it. This week Sophia had her four month wellness visit. She is doing marvelously and will probably start on solid foods in about a month. She now weighs 18 lbs. 13 oz. and is 26in. tall, which puts her in the 97th percentile for both -- she is so proportionate! We won't be able to keep her in the infant car seat much longer, so we'll be getting her a convertible very soon.

Next week we're heading up to visit her Pa-Pa and Ne-Ne and uncles in Massachusetts. We look forward to the little vacation; I am really looking forward to some snowy weather, and it will be Sophia's first snow experience! Don't worry we will keep her well bundled. She has the perfect cozy snowsuit. We'll keep you updated!

On Christmas Day Sophia enjoyed hearing the story of Jesus' birth and sat in her bumbo seat (a Christmas gift from her Nonna).

Sophia loves her stuffed elephant. We've named her Rosebud.

Daddy and Sophia relaxing after a long night. This picture was taken before Sophia began to sleep through the night. Matt had taken the late night/early morning shift, so, after I fed Sophia in the late morning, she decided to take a nap with her Daddy.
